Spring 2011 Environmental Design

Class was primarily interested in the study of climate effects and passive and active methods of sustainability in relation to building design. During the course of the semester, we created and polished a residential-type structure for a specific climate, in our case Topeka, Kansas, and later adapting the structure to Olympia, Washington. These iterations increased in detail as semester progressed.
